Job Overview:
Kamps is a growing company looking to hire a Corporate Buildings & Property Manager. This individual will assist with and oversee all building/property-related activities to ensure that all facilities are safe and well-functioning. This individual will oversee the maintenance and construction of existing and new Kamps facilities. This individual will assist with implementing policies and procedures that monitor the buildings and associated equipment.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee all facility and property maintenance
- Facilitate leases and capital lease-hold improvements
- Assist with greenfield start-ups or new building construction projects
- Oversee the maintenance of building related equipment
- Assist with management of utility costs and contracts
- Determine the need for and schedule repairs or renovations
- Conduct and document regular facility inspections
- Assist in designing facility layouts
- Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
- Monitor daily building operations of systems including mechanical, electrical, safety, waste management, etc.
- Oversee vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects
- Ensure that goals are met and adhere to approved budgets
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a facilities manager or in a related field
- Must be willing to travel regularly (at least 50% of the time)
- BA in Facility Management, Engineering, or relevant field
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
