Kamps is a full-service pallet company meeting the needs of industries coast to coast. We manufactures new pallets, reconditioned pallets, and recycles unrepairable pallets into mulch and bark. Essential Duties:

  • Develop a sustainable Lean System “Kamps Way” across all Operations that focuses on bringing value to our customers through Continuous Improvement in Safety, Quality and Cost
  • Drive Kamps vision for Continuous Improvement throughout Kamps facilities
  • Use Lean Tools frame to drive process improvements through waste elimination
  • Establish, standardize, and support implementation of the best processes across the Kamps enterprise
  • Creation of KPI’s and Dashboards
  • Training of operations employees and leaders in Lean Leadership and Lean Tools
  • Create and document the “Kamps Way” for all Manufacturing/Operations
  • Lead improvement events and teach others how to lead them
  • Assess Lean Implementation across all operations
  • Monitor CI Dashboards in Kamps facilities for up to date information and accuracy
  • Work with corporate and regional finance to generate ideas for improvement
  • Assists local management in building and developing a CI culture at Kamps
  • Work directly with Corporate IT and other related departments to establish and develop technology systems for Kamps
  • Continually monitor and refine the operating systems & processes in all aspects of Kamps business
  • Participate in plant startup of operations insuring proper equipment set up and material flow to support achievement of benchmark metrics

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate and lead the CI Vision, quality standards and culture
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of situations
  • Must work well with varied personalities and abilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
