Summary: Kamps is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern for the Summer of 2025. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for Junior or Senior year students looking to build their knowledge and skills in HR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is completed
- Help with employee record management, maintaining up-to-date files in HRIS (Workday)
- Assist with employee engagement activities and events for corporate office & internship program
- Provide administrative support for HR-related projects
- Respond to general HR inquiries from employees and help resolve via HR ticketing system
- Assist with data entry in HRIS (Workday)
- Exposure to duties related to employee relations, benefits, and talent acquisition
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Incoming Junior or Senior status for Fall 25 semester preferred
- Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week from May-August 2025
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
