Kamps is a full service pallet company meeting the needs of industries coast to coast. Kamps manufactures new pallets, reconditioned pallets, and recycles unrepairable pallets into mulch and bark. Job Functions:
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming support requests
- Troubleshoot and remediate hardware and software systems and make improvements to these systems to prevent future problems
- Document detailed steps taken to identify and remediate the root cause of issues.
- Install, deploy, migrate and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations and servers
- Troubleshoot, configure and deploy MFPs and printers
- Communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Provide escalation support to the Level I tech team
- Assess, document, and escalate complex issues to the Level III tech team
- Troubleshoot, support, and deploy basic to moderately complex networks
- Occasional after-hours / on-call duties are required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT service delivery
- IT work experience representative of skillset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical members
- Exceptional customer service mindset
- Polished documentation skills
- Excellent organizational ability
- Able to work well with other people in a team-oriented environment
- Must be able to set priorities and be flexible when needed
- Strong understanding and experience with system administration and maintenance of Windows workstations and servers (Mac, Linux, and/or Mobile experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of Backup and Disaster Recovery principles
- Strong understanding of networking principles and concepts including Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
- Strong understanding and experience with routers, wireless access points, switches, and VLANs
- Experience with common business software preferred: Office 365, Web Browsers, PDF programs, and other common business applications
- Working knowledge of scripting, using CMD and/or PowerShell
- Experience with a variety of IT management and business system software. Examples include Remote Monitoring and Management, Cloud Backup, Security Applications, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, and Share Point.
- Basic project management skills

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
