Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our remote team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating the Scrum process, ensuring that the team follows Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of Agile methodologies while working on a remote team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team’s progress
- Foster a collaborative environment and promote effective communication within the team
- Work closely with Product Owners to manage backlogs and ensure that the team understands the project vision and goals
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles
- Track and report on team progress, performance, and productivity using relevant metrics
- Facilitate continuous improvement within the team and promote a culture of feedback and learning
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile teams to ensure alignment and share best practices
- Assist with the coordination of release planning and deployment activities

Qualifications/Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role for at least 1 year
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with remote team members
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Additional skills are not required but would be a bonus:
- Experience in Manufacturing
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- Familiarity with Development Operations practices and principles
