Renewing Our Commitment to Reforestation
In honor of Earth Day 2025, Kamps has renewed its partnership with One Tree Planted to support reforestation efforts across the United States and the globe. With a donation funding the planting of 1,000 trees, this initiative reflects our long-standing dedication to sustainability.
Why We Support Tree Planting
Forests are home to diverse ecosystems and communities impacted by development and deforestation. By focusing our Earth Day efforts here, we’re investing in both environmental recovery and local resilience. Healthy forests help protect wildlife habitats, reduce erosion, and contribute to cleaner air and water—benefits that extend far beyond our industry. Reforestation plays a critical role in restoring these ecosystems, increasing biodiversity, and helping to absorb carbon from the atmosphere. Even within our industry, pallets—new or recycled—can contribute positively when sourced responsibly. New pallets are often made from lumber harvested in sustainably managed forests, where each tree removed is part of a long-term plan for regrowth and renewal. This cycle helps maintain forest health and ensures that wood remains a renewable resource for generations to come. According to the U.S. Forest Service, sustainable forest management and reforestation are essential to maintaining healthy, resilient landscapes and meeting growing demands for wood products.
