Job Summary:
Kamps is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to serve as a key liaison between our Operations team and software development group. This fully remote role is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and ensuring the optimal use of our business applications. You’ll be the go-to subject matter expert (SME) on operational systems, providing guidance to end users, analyzing application performance, and driving improvements through collaboration and technical insight.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serve as the SME for operations-related applications, supporting end users across multiple locations
· Provide hands-on technical support and user training related to core operational software
· Diagnose, triage, and resolve issues with applications and integrated systems
· Write and run SQL queries to extract data and generate operational reports
· Document and communicate bugs, enhancement requests, and system improvements to the development team
· Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for workflow improvement through system features or automation
· Lead system demonstrations for new features and create user-facing documentation and best practices
· Support system rollouts, change management efforts, and onboarding initiatives
· Collaborate on the implementation and adoption of new software solutions across operations
· Travel up to 30% to various plant locations to support training, rollouts, and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications/Skills:
· 3+ years of experience in Information Systems, Business Analysis, Supply Chain, or Operations support
· Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments and associated technologies
· Proficient in SQL for data extraction and analysis
· Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
· Experience implementing or supporting ERP or manufacturing software
· General understanding of accounting processes (AP/AR/Inventory/COGS)
· Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
· Proficient with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, SQL Server, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across business units.
