The Rock, a Kamps Company, is one of the largest single-location manufacturers of new pallets and crates in the United States, including Coatesville. Operating in over 300,000 sq. ft., our facility has nine automated nailing machines capable of producing over 120,000 pallets a week.
Strategically located in Coatesville, PA, The Rock supplies new pallets and support across the Northeast, as well as parts of the Central and North regions. The support provided includes heat-treatment and kiln drying as well as lumber delivery. Because of The Rock’s vertically integrated operations, our customers in these regions are now more protected from issues arising from sudden demand spikes and other market conditions.
The facility operates seven heat-treating kilns, allowing us to both heat treat and dry pallets. We treat between 12,000-16,000 pallets a day to comply with ISPM 15. The plant has five sawing lines that cut 1 million board feet of lumber per week along with 100,000 sq. ft. of indoor warehouse space.
Conveniently located an hour outside of our Levittown, Philadelphia location, these two locations work in tandem to buy and sell wooden pallets across the entire state of Pennsylvania.
