Experts In Wood Pallets
The Rock, a Kamps Company, is one of the largest single-location manufacturers of new pallets and crates in not only Coatesville but the United States. Operating in over 300,000 sq. ft. our facility has nine automated nailing machines capable of producing in excess of 120,000 pallets a week.
Strategically located in Coatesville, PA, The Rock has the ability to provide new pallets and support to our entire Northeast region and pockets of our Central and North regions. The support provided includes heat-treatment and kiln drying as well as lumber delivery. Because of The Rock’s vertically integrated operations, our customers in these regions now are more protected from issues arising from sudden demand spikes and other market conditions.
The facility operates seven heat-treating kilns, which gives us the ability to not just heat treat but to dry pallets as well. We treat between 12,000-16,000 pallets a day to comply with ISPM 15. The plant has five sawing lines that cut 1 million board feet of lumber per week along with 100,000 sq. ft. of indoor warehouse space.
Conveniently located an hour outside of our Levittown, Philadelphia location, these two locations work in tandem to buy and sell wooden pallets across the entire state of Pennslyvania.

Created to protect your load, these products also provide for enlarged storage volume in warehouse racking systems saving you valuable space. Pallets, skids, or crates can be two-way and four-way entry, letting you warehouse and move your products around safely and easily. The Rock has decades of experience providing America with the best choice in cost-effective shipping and storage systems solutions for manufactured products anywhere. The Rock uses PDS© (Pallet Design Software) developed by the NWPCA and Virginia Tech to design the pallet that will meet your needs. First, your detailed descriptions of the actual unit load and materials handling conditions are entered and then PDS© accurately predicts the pallet’s safe load capacity and service life. The Rock and PDS© will engineer the best and most cost-effective pallet for your specific needs.
