GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — October 6, 2026 — Kamps, Inc., (“the company”) a leading provider of recycled pallets, new pallets and reusable packaging management, today announced that Elie Ghazal has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO) – effective immediately. Ghazal brings more than 30 years of global manufacturing leadership, including senior operations roles at Lear Corporation and TE Connectivity. In his new role, he will oversee Kamps’ operations nationwide as the company looks to continue to raise the standard for customer-centric pallet and packaging services.
As COO, Ghazal’s focus will include continuing to advance Kamps’ safety culture and manufacturing innovations, as well as developing the next generation of talent. He will also work to align these and other best practices across the company’s national network. Ghazal joins Kamps as a proven fit, having spent the past several months consulting with Kamps on its operational processes. Ghazal will report to Chief Executive Officer Mitchell Kamps.
Ghazal spent more than two decades at global automotive supplier Lear Corporation. He rose from plant manager to Vice President of North America Operations, where he led a multi-billion-dollar business unit across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. His other Lear roles included vice president positions in global continuous improvement, program management, China operations and global quality. He later served as Vice President of Global Operations at TE Connectivity, overseeing 22 facilities. Ghazal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and an MBA from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business.
